DESIGN
Marmol Radziner is a nationally recognized award winning architectural brand known for creating custom high-end modernist residences across the country. MRP’s manufacturing process offers a high degree of design flexibility allowing custom prefabricated elements to be arranged to respond to your site’s solar orientation, view corridors and landscape features.

PROGRAM CONSULTATION
The design consultation starts with your call or email. During the consultation we will work with you to establish the programmatic needs of your site. We will then develop a preliminary program that outlines each individual space and their square footage allocations. The preliminary program will serve as the backbone for the initial budget and will guide the design team as they develop your project. The final step of the Program Consultation involves drafting, and signing, the design contract to start the Design Phase.
DESIGN PHASE
We will generate floor plans, elevations, and a 3-D model to help start a dialogue about our design intentions. There will be multiple meetings throughout the design phase addressing different components of the project design. Each meeting will help move the project towards the construction documents phase where MRP will complete the set of drawings required to fabricate the structure in our factory.
PRODUCTION / SITE CONSTRUCTION
Once the drawings have been finalized, and state and local approvals have been obtained, we can begin production of the modules. At this time, site construction will also begin. The time savings obtained through parallel production sequencing can only be achieved with a modular prefab system.
DELIVERY / SETTING
We will ship the modules when factory production and site foundations have been completed. Shipment will take anywhere from a few days to a week depending on the location of the site. Once the modules arrive, they will be craned into position on to the foundation. A two-day setting period is typical for single family homes and will vary for multi-family projects depending on the amount of modules.
FINISH INSTALLATION / SITE IMPROVEMENTS
The work that can’t be done at the factory happens during this time (roughly 10%). This process can take from 6 weeks, for simple projects, to a couple months for more complicated programs. While we work on the prefab “button up” the other site improvements can take place. We can act as the general contractor or you can hire out the work on your own.
